Baden Breust

Baden Breust Born 1932 Temora NSW Baden Breust was born in Temora in the Riverina's north east, but grew up on his parent's farm in the small rural community of Beatrice. Baden ran his own realestate business with his two bothers, for over 30 years in Wagga Wagga. He is pictured here with the train set he built for his son Greg whilst living in Sydney in the late 1960s. The set was packed away when the family moved to Wagga Wagga in 1970 and only resurrected about ten years ago when three of Baden's grandchildren, Laura, Cameron and Bethany, rescued it from being discarded in a garage cleanup. Convincing their grandfather to keep it, Baden was newly inspired to rebuild the set, including the intricate landscaping, and it is now a much treasured part of the family's history.
